Because our research programs are ongoing, we are always evaluating applications
for graduate students, especially at the Ph.D. level. If you have an
interest in our research program in Food and Bioprocessing, please apply online
to the University of Illinois. That way, we can give your application a
full, objective review. Two forms of support are generally used by graduate assistants: assistantships and fellowships. Assistantships typically include a tuition and fee waiver and are funded through research projects. Fellowships are less common, but are also available from time to time. Funding opportunities can open up at any time, so it is a good idea to apply as early as possible, so that we have your application on file. Download information about the FBE research program here.
