Soil and Water Resources Engineering

Profile Soil and Water Resources Engineering involves the management of soil and water resources and water quality.
Our students learn to: Design systems to control soil erosion and flooding. Develop irrigation systems. Serve as engineering consultants on crop nutrient management. Design ways to handle stormwater and control the movement of sediment into lakes. Understand the relationships between land use and water quality and the role of natural ecosystms in modern agriculture.
